LARC is a movement solving the loneliness epidemic by teaching you how meaningful conversations with strangers improve the way you connect with everyone.
“The strength of relationships is the single most powerful predictor of happiness and longevity.”
- Harvard Study of Adult Development based on 80 years of longitudinal research
The world's oldest, happiest, and healthiest people have one thing in common… Connection.
And the research shows most of us are missing this key ingredient. Loneliness affects 1 in 4 people globally. Anxiety and social discomfort have doubled among young adults since 2010.
Connection is a skill—and LARC is where you learn it. Through our book or at our events, this is your practice ground for the conversations you're designed to be having, from strangers to the people you love most.

LARC’s Approach
-
We haven't lost the ability to connect. We've lost the opportunities and willingness to practice. The problem is fear, habit, and a world that stopped giving us reasons to talk to each other.
-
Go first. LARC starts with strangers because when you can hold an honest conversation with someone you've never met, every other conversation gets easier.
-
The step most people skip. After every event and chapter, we ask: what landed, what surprised you, what would you do differently. The CHATS agreements (Confidentiality, Honesty, Accountability, Curiosity, Silliness) make it safe to be real. This part can't happen alone. That's why community is built into the method.
-
The skills you build with strangers start showing up everywhere. Friendships go deeper. Family conversations get more honest. You stop dreading avoiding conversations and start trusting yourself to handle them. Relationships improve, and the cycle starts again.
What People Say
As seen in….
“Random Conversations bud fresh relationships.” Read the article →
“It is these kinds of experiences that truly enrich our lives.”
“Everyone with whom I had a conversation opened up my eyes to different ways of thinking and living. An experience like that is truly energizing. It’s become an important part of our lives. People love the chance to have deeper conversations free of all the usual banter, gossip and chit chat that passes for ‘communication.’”
“One employee said this was the most impactful meeting of their career. The level of authenticity and integrity built between the team exceeded expectations.”
“I really enjoyed the LARC event in San Diego. Structured enough to guide us, yet open enough to feel completely natural. That balance made it easy to connect with others and be reminded of how effortless it can be to talk with someone new.”

LARC is built by three people who believe the best things in life start with a good conversation. We teach it, practice it, and still mess it up sometimes. That's kind of the point.
